Public Relations Techniques

Fall 2017

This senior level Public Relations Technique course objective is to introduce students to a range of public relations tools and techniques with a focus on writing. During this class I've completed a media pitch, news release, and feature story. I was also given the opportunity to work with a client to create an infographic and YouTube and social media plan in which i received feedback during and after.

Welcome to my portfolio! Truth be told when I declared my major as PR I didn't know much about it, but now that I've indulged in so many classes and opportunities, I've become quite passionate about it.

Writing for Mass Media

Spring 2017

This writing course I took Junior year is designed to introduce students to the mechanics of writing for various mass communication genres. We practiced the ability to analyze complex situations and translate them into written segments. My projects in this course were mainly getting news releases and other social media releases up quickly.
